Kitchen Panel & Order Status

Kitchen Display System (KDS) (Ch 7)

The Kitchen Panel is optimized for tablets (1280x800). It replaces paper KOTs with interactive order cards.

  • **Filtering**: Set specific panels to only see "Bar" items or "Grill" items.
  • **Workflow**: Chef clicks "Cook" to start, and "Done" to notify the waiter.
  • **Real-time Alerts**: New orders pop up with sound notifications.

Order Status Screen (Ch 9)

Designed for customer-facing Smart TVs. This screen divides orders into: 1. **Preparing**: Currently in the kitchen. 2. **Ready to Pick-up**: Orders marked "Done" by the chef. Once the cashier finalizes the sale in the POS, the order is automatically removed from the screen.
